Kettler is one of the biggest names when it comes to outdoor table tennis tables. So if you’re in the market for an outdoor model, you should certainly give Kettler table tennis tables a look over!
Besides using anti-glare tops and sizeable wheels, their tables come with up to 10 years of warranty which is industry-leading. In this post, I discuss my favorite Kettler tables for ping pong this year.

The Best Kettler Ping Pong Tables of This Year
1. Kettler Sport Axos Outdoor — Best for Mobility
Pros
- Anti-glare
- Single-handed locking mechanism
- Solo playback mode
- 7-inch wheels
- Leg levelers
- Racket and ball holders
- Includes 2 rackets and 6 balls
- 7-year warranty on the surface and 3 years on the frame
Cons
- Permanent net
- The play surface is not particularly thick
As the cheapest offering on this list, the Axos Outdoor represents the most affordable route into the Kettler table line-up. It sports a 4 mm thick PRO-TEC 4 surface that is both glare-resistant and skid-resistant. While 4 mm is not particularly thick for an outdoor table, it should suffice for most, and the anti-glare aspect in particular will really come in handy on sunny days.
One of the most noteworthy features of this table are the large 7-inch wheels. Most models are 3 or 4-inches, so it’s an excellent performer in this category. If you’re planning on wheeling your table over tough terrain, it’s a solid model to select.
As with all other Kettler tables, the Axos Outdoor comes with an exemplary warranty. That being said, the coverage is a little less than the more expensive models from the brand. You get 7 years of warranty on the top and 3 years on the frame. This easily beats out most competitors.
To top it all off, the table includes 2 rackets and 6 balls so that you can crack on with playing as soon as you get it set up. What’s more, you can easily store these when you are finished playing thanks to the racket and ball holders. How convenient!
2. Kettler Eden — Best Fixed Model
Pros
- 10 mm KETT-TECH10 play surface
- Very strong
- Highly durable
- Can be anchored to the ground
- 10-year warranty on the surface and 3 years on the frame
Cons
- Net is permanent and made of metal
- Non-foldable
- Tough to move
- Assembly time of 45 minutes
- Expensive
If you’re after a rugged Kettler Sport ping pong table that you want to stand the test of time outdoors, there is no better table for the job than the Kettler Eden. This model is incredibly strong as it is reinforced with 2” galvanized tubular steel and features 4” galvanized steel legs. It weighs in at a total of 280 lbs and can support up to 200 lbs.
You can even choose to anchor it to the ground using the included anchoring kit. However, at its weight, I don’t really see the point. It isn’t going anywhere! Of course, this weight does come with a drawback — it’s tough to move. The Eden is a stationary table, so it’s designed to be set up and left in one place. Moving it is rather challenging, and you can’t effectively store it as it doesn’t fold like most models.
The main drawback to this table is the price. It’s very expensive and not a table to purchase if you only play every once in a while. If you play sporadically, you’re much better off choosing a cheap foldable table instead. That being said, the Kettler Eden is unmatched when it comes to strength and durability. So for the right buyer, it’s a dream come true.
3. Kettler Outdoor 10 — Best for Serious Players
Pros
- 8 mm KETT-TEC8 play surface
- Stylish design
- Anti-glare
- Single-handed locking mechanism
- Solo playback mode
- 5.5-inch wheels
- Leg levelers
- Racket and ball holders
- 10-year warranty on the surface and 3 years on the frame
Cons
- Permanent net
- Expensive
- Assembly time of 90 minutes
The Kettler Outdoor 6 may be pricey, but it is one of the best Kettler outdoor table tennis tables available. It features an 8 mm KETT-TEC8 play surface which makes it 4 mm thicker than the Axos Outdoor. Besides the thicker table top, many of the features are the same as the Axos Outdoor.
The Outdoor 10 uses Kettler’s patented SMOOTH TRAX technology and a one-handed locking mechanism. However, it also includes Safety-fold technology, a thicker frame, and a much smarter design. As for the wheels, they measure 5.5 inches in diameter, so the table can tackle troublesome ground with relative ease.
Like the Kettler Eden, the Outdoor 10 comes with 10 years of warranty on the table top and 3 years on the frame. As such, you can be confident that it will last for many years to come. Besides costing more than many other tables, the main drawback to Outdoor 10 is the fixed net in my opinion. While it’s true it has height and tension adjustment, fixed nets are harder to replace if they break. So my preference is a removable net instead.
4. Kettler Cabo Outdoor
Pros
- 5 mm KETT-TEC5 play surface
- Anti-glare
- Single-handed locking mechanism
- Solo playback mode
- 5.5-inch wheels
- Ball dispensers
- Leg levelers
- Racket and ball holders
- 10-year warranty on the surface and 3 years on the frame
Cons
- Permanent net
- Fairly expensive
- 90-minute assembly time
Like the other Kettler outdoor ping pong tables discussed thus far, the Cabo Outdoor is a one-piece table, so it’s not as compact as many two-piece ping pong tables, yet its space-saving technology does help with storage. When folded, the table measures 72.8” x 28.7” 62.6”.
The Cabo Outdoor sits as one of Kettler’s low to medium-priced models. So while it is a little more expensive than the likes of the Axos Outdoor 1, it represents a massive saving compared to the Outdoor 10 or Eden. Of course, this does mean it falls short of the top models in some areas.
The most important feature as always is the play surface. The Cabo Outdoor uses a KETT-TEC5 top which measures 5 mm thick. This is very respectable for an outdoor table and gives the ball a nice and consistent bounce. Moving on to the wheels, they measure 5.5” thick which is standard for most Kettler tables (but better than most competitors).
A quality I can see being an issue for some buyers is the assembly time. It takes around 90 minutes to put the table together which is way above the 15 minutes we so commonly see for tables today. Of course, this is a bit of an inconvenience, but ultimately, I personally don’t see it as much of a problem. A new wardrobe for instance would take far longer to build, and the Cabo Outdoor is an excellent outdoor table tennis by Kettler.
5. Kettler Outdoor 6
Pros
- 6 mm KETT-TEC5 play surface
- Anti-glare
- Single-handed locking mechanism
- Solo playback mode
- 5.5-inch wheels
- Leg levelers
- Racket and ball holders
- 10-year warranty on the surface and 3 years on the frame
Cons
- Permanent net
- Expensive
- 90-minute assembly time
The Outdoor 6 is one model up from the Cabo Outdoor so we are entering expensive territory here. As you would expect, it comes with all of the features of the prior model with a few small improvements. The first is the play surface, it uses a KETT-TEC6 top which is 1 mm thicker than what the Cabo Outdoor uses. In reality, this change will be hardly noticeable.
This model also features a thicker undercarriage at 2.25 inches compared to 1.6”, making it more robust. This also bumps up the weight from 131 lb to 180 lb. A cool upgrade of note are the handy ball dispensers at either end of the table. This is more of a premium feature that is also present on the Outdoor 10.
And that about sums up all the differences. When you consider the price jump of a few hundred dollars, it’s tough to separate the two, explaining why the Outdoor 6 made this list.

Closing Thoughts
Kettler offers a range of table tennis tables to suit the needs of any player. Want a fixed model? The Kettler Eden is the table for you! How about a table that crushes it when it comes to mobility? No sweat. The Kettler Sport Axos Outdoor is the one you want.
Yet when I consider what is the best Kettler ping pong table overall, the Outdoor 10 stands out. With its 8 mm thick play surface, it is great for beginners and advanced players alike. I wouldn’t be put off by the 90-minute assembly period for a second. Rather, consider if it is within your budget because there’s no denying it’s pricey.
